I have an old rototiller with the single name of
"Mang" barely showing on it. Does anyone have any information on this machine, please??
The machine looks heavy duty enough to till rocks and has a Wisconsin AE engine.

I have tiller that I use. Mang Jr. on the side of it. has a 8hp briggs on it. HEAVY AS A , well you know. Mang was a U.S. built I,m told. Some one on the graden tiller forum gave me this info. If you can hold it ,it will till a hole straight down. I think it might have been Donald at rototiller@hotmail.com. He said that you could get parts until about a year ago ,they just disapeard.GOOD LUCK !!!

I have a Mang Jr. with a need for some bearings (for both sides of the tiller itself) and recommendation for an exhaust. Before I got it, someone put an 8hp honda motor on it (which runs great) It tilled all last year, but found that someone drilled the casing and bolted the tine shaft in place. Of course, the machine destroyed the bolts and the bearings are pretty shot. The one side still has the bolt going into the gear arm (right side) but the left side has also sheered off. If you happen to still have any parts, I would greatly appriciate any consideration or recommendations. What weight of gear oil would you recommend as well?

Thanks,

JAMIE

Paul,Yes unfortunatly Mang quietly slipped away and we are left holding on to our Mangoes.Seven years ago I bought a group of mangs so that I could keep my tiller running for ever.I haven't had to use any parts yet probably because I learned the limits of it's use.So I am willing to part with some parts.Ron

Ron, Do you have a ramp plate for the tiller shaft? It is a mushroom shaped piece, about 7" wide with 2 big holes. I broke the original. For anyone interested, I have a 12 page mini manual put out by Mang. Only somewhat helpful in tearing into the main gears but better than nothing.

Hi Ron-
Do you still have any parts left for a MANG rototiller? I desperatly need a final drive chain cover. Also need other driveline parts if you have any.

Parts problems!!Yeow. I just bought a very large Mang tiller, it has a Wisconsin motor on it. I was told it runs good but doesn't move on its own power. It has a drive lever that pulls/pushes a rod which comes out of a rectangle shaped gear box mounted under the motor. Might anyone have any info on this beast of a tiller?
