I'm putting the final touches on my 1934 Plymouth tractor, and need some info. First, what is the correct carburetor for that engine (Hercules IXA)? I also need the governor spring, the one on it is quite pitted. Last, I need an air cleaner. I have the gooseneck part that turns down from the dashboard, but thats it. Anybody have one or know where I can find one? Thanks!!
Dan

The zenith 193 1/2 carb with the tag no. 7776.
Good luck finding one. If you find one you can't get parts for it. Only made a few years before replaced by the 161 series carbs. The 193 1/2 doesn't even show up in parts books any more.
We had to make the gaskets for ours and very carefully dis-assemble and clean it.

The parts book lists a stromberg carborator,I can look tonight for a model#.If you have tru-value hardware store around you can take your spring and compare it to the ones they sell. They used 2 very differant springs, see my earlyer posts. They allso used many differant air cleaners and the book does not give a serial number breakdown. The pipe is differant depending on which air cleaner you have.

Oops made a mistake on the post above. The parts book shows a zenith 193 1/2,but then it says be sure to use the number on the tag on the carb when ordering parts.
