Recently purchased in estate sale a Case Backhoe called a Construction King It was sandblasted and painted so numbers are scetchy.
Modle #42 on both hoe and operators plate Serial # on hoe 4059572 and on operators 4868676 or the 7 could be a 1 plate on gas 4 cylinder engine is GWC K 30
Would like info on year, fluids, and where I could get an operators and repair manual in Ontario or Canada you can e-mail me at bunt@vianet.ca

Bill,
there were lots of versions of the Construction King. There was even a Comfort King made by Case.
More info on the model would probably help identify the machine. the manuals are still available.
hope this helps. Manuel

Bill,
I'm no expert, but I'm working on bringing a Case 380 Construction King back to life. It turns out to really be a David Brown 885 Industrial. Case bought David Brown at some point in time. If this is a David Brown, check to see if there is a data plate on the right fender about knee level. The second line starts out with the model # and version then gives the tractor serial #. The third line is the engine serial #. There are several good DB sites on the web. Try primedia (I&T shop service manuals) for thr best prices on manuals. Good luck,
Jim
