Sir, I have an HU also, with a hercules jxc 6cly gas motor. I have gone through the motor top to bottom and it runs great now. These hercules industrail motors were used in alot of different applications such as marine use, old boatyards is a great place to find parts. If you need it I have one copie I made of a parts manual,it was originaly on microfeish. All I know is if your good at tinkering this is a good though loader,Mine realy works great.Question ? does yours have a backhoe attachment? Mine has a Whayne-Roy. Write back I am intrested also in finding out how many different combos of this machine are out there still.

Joe my hu is just standard with bucket in front. When I brought it, the block was cracked and leaks water bad. It will start and run. I have a few IH motors and I think the next series had IH motors. I would appreciate if I could get copie of parts book, kind of hard working in dark. Fella in next county over is still using a hu to load lime truck. Thank you

Hi I just picked up a Hough Model HM.The thing runs great but I need a water pump and can't seem to figure out where to find one.I can;t find a book on it anyplace.I wondered if you could tell me if the pump can be rebuilt or if I have to get another one?
