I have a Schramm 125 Compressor tractor with a back-hoe loader. The manual states the drive train of the tractor was made by Farm-All possibly an "H" model. Has any one tried doing away with the compressor engine & installing a farm tractor Engine? Can it be done with extensive machine work?

I own a Schramm Pneumatractor Series 62 that needs some exhaust valve re-work or a complete head swap. Anyone rebuilding one or parting one out - please contact me. (I'm in SW Ohio) Thanks,
Ron

If you take this a-part I would be interested in purchasing some of the compressor engine parts.

Bill: The only picture of a Schramm tractor I have looks like a stretched W9 McCormick with two 4 cylinder engines back to back. The original W9 engine was a 350ci 4 cylinder. A Farmall H was built by IH (sorry, didn't know if you know)
and was a row crop tractor usually with a tricycle front end. It's standard version was an International W4, 164 ci 4 cylinder 5 speed trans and they were built by the tens of thousands. It seems a little small to carry a backhoe and loader. Next size up was a W6 with a 264 ci engine and a 5 speed box. If I saw a picture of the seat and steering column, I could identify immediately. Hope some of this helps. Good luck. Tom
