My recently aquired E3 has a loader on it and no fenders. I will be removing the loader. Where fenders an option or did they all have them? Also are there any records of production #'s. My tractor is # 47-30-1352. I know this makes it a 1947. Where the #'s used across the board on all 4 brands that these tractors were marked with. Or where the different brands numbered seperatly? Where records kept regarding equipment as built or any of this kind of thing? Thanks

Dennis,
Total production of the Model E3 and 30 was approximately 37,200 tractors from October 1946 thru March 1956.This quanity of tractors is nearly half of ALL the COCKSHUTT BUILT line from 1946 to 1962. Clam style fenders were standard equipment on ALL Cockshutt built tractors. Heavy western style fenders were optional on the larger models.

Cockshutt never kept seperate records for each model. The 30,E-3 and Gambles Farmcrest all came down the same assembly line, and got serial numbers in numerical order. I do believe fenders were standard equipment.
