Back during August I asked the same question. I found one that the owner thought was worth $12,000.00. It was somewhat restored, had new tires and all the shields. I did get it for less than $12,000 but they are very valuable if in the right part of the USA. My brother-in-law from back east reported that a collector that he knows well paid $40,000.00 for one in mint condition last spring. They are rare and there were only 2243 of them built. It is estimated that there are less than 200 complete units in existance. If the one you are looking at has a complete and unbroken grill and all the shields, it is probably worth $7000.00 to $8000.00.

I've no idea as to their value, certainly have never even heard of one in this neck of the woods. I do know however that they are pretty rare and I expect pretty pricey. The sidecovers alone would probably send some of us to the poorhouse. I'm looking forward to seeing some responses from guys who might know. Why not post your question on the tractor talk discussion forum, there's a lot more action over there. I find this orphans and oddballs section a bit dead lately for responses.
