I am in search of an original drawing of one of the gradall excavators. Anyone know where to look or who to contact. I know that JLG now owns Gradall. This would go back to the Warner and Swasey days. Help!!!

All of the drawings for the Gradall Excavators are at the Gradall plant in New Philadelphia, Ohio. I have worked in the Engineering Department there for the last 30 years, and have seen and worked on many of these drawings. It may be that the very first drawings for the machines made in Cleveland at the Warner & Swasey plant are gone, but I do know some if not all are in New Phila.

The corporate papers of Warner Swasey are at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland OH.
Their website is www.wrhs.org
You could contact them. I know they have a photo collection, don't know about drawings.
