I was told that this tractor would lift and resend so that the tractor would lift itself if needed too. My problem is it will lift, but if I reverse the hydraulic it does not lift the tractor, and on top of that it acts as if it come unprimed, because it will take a few minutes before it will lift again. could it be the valve, pump, or the hydr. shaft ( not what it is called, but) Please reply

It has been too many years ago since I have had a 250 to tell you exactly what to look for. I would guess you might have a piston seal going bad. I used to use a posthole digger on the ones I had because the 3 point would power down and lift the rear of the tractor off the ground. When you lift an implement off the ground, will the lift stay up or leak down?
