Might anyone know where I could find parts and/or a complete gearbox for a 60 inch Dunham cutter (bush hog)? Dunham made their own gearboxes and they have been out of business for some time now. My gearbox is in need of both shaft/gear assemblies. Yes, cutters are not too expensive but I have had this machine for over 30 years and it has done everything that I have asked of it. The rest of the machine is good and it will last longer than will I if I can overhaul or replace the gearbox. Any advise will be appreciated.

For what it"s worth, GIVE UP. Even if you DID find ANYTHING you wouldn"t know what you were getting. King Kutter brand has been highly recommended by acquaintances. NO---I don"t sell them Link

Thanks for the thought. Would still like to repair the one that I have. I've been through a couple inexpensive cutters and am familiar with others including Kingcutter. They aren't made like my old one and will not do what it has done.

Are the gears completely shot??? Are the gears keyed or splined? What exactly is wrong with it?
If it"s mainly a matter of worn shafts and bearings and such, those things are readily repairable, maybe even the gear teeth. Please check us out and email me from our site. Craig
