I have an 47 Empire Tractor with a Willys flat head four in it. I am looking for a vendor of war era jeep parts. This thing needs a fuel pump and carb kit, and since the tractor was made from surplus at the end of the war, the parts should still be available. Please drop me a line.

SCOTT,
I HAVE A 48 EMPIRE AND HAD TO DO THE SAME PROJECT WITH MINE. I GOT A NEW FUEL PUMP AND CARB KIT THROUGH CARQUEST AUTO PARTS. THE PUMP ON MINE WAS PRODUCED BY AC DELCO AND WAS USED FOR YEARS ON ALL TYPES OF VEHICLES. I TBELIEVE IT WAS USED INTO THE 70'S ON JEEPS. TAKE YOUR OLD ONE IN AND IT SHOULD HAVE NUMBERS ON IT THAT WILL CROSS AND THE SAME WITH THE CARB. I SUGGEST THAT YOU JUST ASK THEM TO CROSS THE NUMBERS BECAUSE AS YOU KNOW PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOUR CRAZY WHEN YOU TELL THEM YOU HAVE A TRACTOR MADE BY EMPIRE. HOPE THIS HELPS.
