A family friend would like to sell his 1945 Power king tractor. Where can I go and find the worth of it? Thanks for any information that you can give.

Ed:
Hi there, Was going through the PK website--have been looking for someone who may know more about the PK. I have a P.K. which was always kept in a barn I am interested in selling. Economy model #1614, serial 29297 (1973), tandem transmissions, hyd lift, 16 inch rear wheels w/chains.

It also comes with a 48-inch snow blower w/dual electric shoots, mower deck, rotor tiller, push blade, tractor cab(in poor shape), 1 wheel weight, extra tire chains & parts, owners manual parts catalogs (with old & new numbers).

Everything is in very good working condition and is ready for winter.

Can send pictures if interested.

If you cannot get your info. to Ed, try me. Ed and I both belong to the same group of Economy Power King tractor nuts!
Value is based on location, condition of tractor, and of course the number and condition of implements.

Ken, I"ll provide you with the info, if you"d be willing to look it over, and I have a few digital pictures I could send you. I appreciate it very much. A friend at work is interested in it and I"d like to come up with as fair a price for both of us as I can. The gmail address above, if you"re willing. Thanks very much.

Ken, the serial number is 27630, so I"m assuming it was made in 1963 as it was purchased used in 1973. It has 16 " tires. It is well maintained having been kept inside and properly lubed before use. The only attachment is a 48" cutting deck. As I said, I have some digital pictures that I could email you if it would help you help me determine a fair price. Thanks again.

If the serial number is correct and came off one of the decals denoting the Tractor as an Ecomony or Power King, then the serial number is for a 1973 model. I have all production serials numbers.

You may want to double check the serial number. If taken off the engine, or anywhere other than the Economy Power King decal, it is not the manufacturers serial number.
