This is a mower manufactured in Kansas. It is still in production with a limited staff. If you are still interested, send me a followup email to above and I will get you the info.

Steve; i'm glad to see another heckendorn user. I have a 74, w/88" cut, that I use all the time. The company is in Peabody, Ks. I spoke to them on the phone last week, there doing fine and we are still able to get parts. Hope I was able to help. Dave

I have 3 Heckendorns that are running and about 4 others for parts. Most of them are deisels. My understanding is that the company does not have a regular production process any more, but will assemble new machines from parts when they get an order. I do not believe they have any retailers or distributors, other than their headquarters in Kansas. If anyone has machines they wish to sell, I may be interested.

I have a 1970 88" with Wisconsin 18HP. Its just about worn out, the deck has finally rusted through in a few places. I called Heck Inc. they sent me their brochures for their current mower line. They are still manufacturing the full line of 36" to 88" traditional handlebar mowers.
11K-15K, a little more than I want to spend, but not a bad price for the service you get from one.
Still have the diesel but no more Wisconsin.
I am looking for a used 88" diesel in good shape or needs a little work either one.
