Went to look at a old Farmall 400 a couple of weeks ago and also found an old Leroi compressor tractor. I couldn't see leaving it behind so I let it tag behind the 400. The engine is stuck on it, I have it soaking hoping it's not stuck to bad. I see it's missing a few pieces but overall fairly straight and complete.

I was told it thought to be an early 60's model and the engine was possibly a WD Allis. The trans mission shitter reminds me also of a Allis. I did find a nice web site at tractair.com . Was wonder if anyone else may have additional information on this old tractor. I think it will be one neat tractor if I can get it going.

Oh, and caseman, yours is the earlier 105 or something similar. It has the rounded side opening corners where mine has square corners, and my hood is solid 1 piece with a small hatch at the rear for the battery. I don't think your earlier one has the huge side shield LeRoi emblems like mine either.

The engine is leroi and they sold out long ago so no parts are available. The best site is the tractair site you have allready found.

I have a LeRoi 125 myself. I believe most engine head & internal parts are same as an Allis WD. Block & crank are leRoi. Looks like manifold is watercooled. That would confuse the troops on a WC!

If I could ever free the head from the water manifold studs, I could tell you more. Mines stuck.

Tank is compressor tank, toolbox is for jackhammer. LeRoi Side shield shows jackhammer cracking the road.

Uses Centaur transmission but it looks similar to a WC with it's LONG shift lever.

No provision for drawbar, long wheel base. Terrible idea for farming but great for loader or blade. Curious as to what one would work out like as a puller! The front would be hard to get to leave the ground, and the short tires and long wheel base would make it more stable.

Of course someplace to actually pull from would help.
