Does the 910 only have 1000 rpm PTO? Is the shaft reversable? How do you get it out if it is? Thanks in advance.

Parker, On the Long 900 (the earlier version of the 910), the PTO shaft had two separate ends ,one being 540 and the other being 1000. If my memory serves me correctly, the shaft not being used was stored in a hole (covered, just larger than the shaft itself) on the right -hand side of the reduction gearbox ,down at the very bottom.I had a 900 and a 1310 but both of mine had the 540 ends active and the others were stored. I took my 1000 ends off of my tractors and put them up in my parts storage and if yours is not on your tractor ,so might the previous owner. I think all you had to do to remove them was to remove the snap ring and possibly the three or four flange bolts on the rear of the pto and then switch them. Its been 20 years since I removed any pto"s and been 10 years since I sold my Longs but hope this gives you some insight. Brian
