I have a BM Volvo 800. I need the front O-ring for the hydraulic pump. Does anyone know where I can find one, or where I might be able to get one made? I also need the lights (in the fender wells) and there are no part numbers on anything... HELP!!!!!

Is your T-800 a European model or the one imported by Canadian Co-op Implements Limted (CCIL)? In 1965, the first BM-Volvo T-800's were imported by CCIL and used their original Swedish fittings (the cab made by HARA of Sweden and a Swedish hydraulic system). In 1966, CCIL had a company call Agristeel put a locally made cab on and they began to use a Gresen (an American) hydraulic system.

You can still get most parts for BM-Volvo from Volvo construction dealers, but you say Volvo tractor and they will say no can do. I managed to get a parts catalog for the T-810 and later T-814 tractors and simply give these boys the Volvo parts numbers and they order them in. To get a parts manual (what the Swedes call a reservdelskatalog), you can try Valmet/Valtra or contact Volvo AB's heavy equipment division of Eskiltuna (where the tractor was made) at www.volvo.com

Good Luck!

Yes, it's the CCIL... but I'm not too sure on the hydraulic system, as I haven't been able to pull a year off of any of the components of the tractor yet. it looks to be late 60's though.

The T-800 went out of production in the early '70's and was repalced by the T-810. When this took place, I don't know and I know naught when CCIL switched from the T-800 to T-810.

On my T-810, the CCIL data plate is on the front right side of the cab. The CCIL plate would have the date of manufacture on it. I know the earlier T-810's (circa 1974) had a sticker mounted on the left side of the console with dyno testing data and other such things on it. Again on my tractor, stamped into the frame is type (Swd: typ) number with the date "MAR 78" stamped below. This would be right on the lower frame bar on the right side of the engine. There are three resources you can try for CCIL. Two are in Alberta, one in Manitoba (where I am). You can phone Larry Trudeau at LTD Enterprises, in Winnipeg at (204)-663-7727. You may also try Charbeck Ag & Industrial (I have never tried them) who were CCIL dealers at one time and may still have knowledgeable staff. Their phone number is (403)-787-2288. Another Alberta-based dealer is Vegreville Implements, I have phoned them on more than one occassion, their number is (780)-632-2514.

You can also e-mail Niklas Larsson of Sweden. He runs a BM-Volvo web-page and while he has little techincal knowledge, he could possibly help with the dating of the tractor and can tell a T-800 from a T-810 by sight. On his pages, there are some photos that might help by comparing them to your BM-Volvo. You can e-mail him at bmsidan@comhem.se

Hope the above info helps.

Ivan

The T800 was introduced in 1966 and the T810 with turbo in 1969. They was both produced in Sweden until 1979 when the follow up model 2650, 140 hp and later in 1981 the 2600 export model without turbo was introduced. In 1983 the whole tractor production at Volvo BM was stopped.
