I recently bought a long model 610 tractor with an Allis Chalmers front end load. Both rams on the loader seem to be working but they start lifting at seperate times causing the bucket to lift cock eyed and stress the mounts where the loader is attached. I have very little experience with hydrolics. What should I check to correct this?

ASSUMING the two cylinders are TEED from the oil supply AND they are 2 way cylinders the most likely cause would be a leaky piston seal on the "weak" cylinder. If they are ONE way cylinders, when you extend them far enough you will get an oil bath from the bypassed oil in the "weak" cylinder.
A bent ram is not out of the question either nor is a loose piston nut.
We see these things all the time.
