My father bought one of these in 1956. We used it to build a log house. It did the work of 6 men especially when it came to hauling logs out of the woods. We also used it to lift the logs in place by hooking a cable to a central gin pole. Still have the tractor. It's original, even has the original tires. It runs OK but has surface rust. It tipped over once (well, maybe more than once) so the steering wheel is bent but it's still usable. Sears discontinued the Tri-Trac about 1960. I heard that whole Sears manufacturing process was sent to Holland where they have smaller gardens. Management thought this size machine might find more buyers there. It was just right for our needs.

If a guy could find one of these with all the implements, what might it be worth?
