Huber B on steel?

Hello,
I'm working on a study of round spoke French & Hecht wheels used to replace steel wheels with rubber, and have some questions about the Huber B.

1) Was the Huber B available on steel? 2) And if so, were French and Hecht round spoke wheels available for the rears? 3) Has anyone seen them and have a casting number from the hub?
4) Also, do the Huber B rear wheels attach to the axle hub with 6 bolts?
5) How many Huber B's were built?

I have looked at the nice Huber B in the Pictures section, but can't tell about the axle hub.

Thanks Much for any info!

I have a Huber 18-36 with 6 bolt F & H 36" wheels. I will check the casting number and let you know what it is.

I checked the Huber and verified that I must be losing some of my mental faculties! It is a 20-36 and the wheel casting number is HC-23N. They are 6 spline cast in hubs. Sorry about that.

I believe the HC-126 were on F-12 or F-14 Farmalls.

Yes the Huber B was available with steel wheels. I have never seen a B on round spokes. Most of the time the B used a two piece wheel. A center "disc" which bolted to the hub with six bolts, then an outer "rim" which bolts to the center disc. This outer rim would either be a conventional rim with a rubber tire,or a steel ring with steel wheel lugs. I was looking through my Huber records and quite a few Huber B's were outfitted with steel wheels. As for how many were built,I am not really sure but I would guess that it had the highest production numbers for a Huber farm tractor.

Brent,
Thanks for your informed reply. I'm trying to pin down the use of a F&H HC126 36" round spoke wheel with a 6-bolt mounting hub, and I guess it wasn't for the Huber B.
