I have the opportunity to purchase a 1948 Cockshutt 30. It's all there, seller says not running but engine is free. Needs paint and restoration, but tires all hold air, and sheetmetal is not dented, just surface rust. How much is it worth? I think I can get it for a $1,000. What do you think.

If all the sheet metal is there and there are no dents of any kind thats worth alot right there. If I would find one for that price not running I would jump on it.

I like my Cockshutt 30 and I think you will also. Buda engine is fairly trouble free, and high low range and live PTO is nice.
Price seems about right at least here in midwest.
