I'm starting to work on likely clutch/throw out bearing repair on our '72 Power King. I don't have a service manual, so sorta running alittle blind at this point. Plan on getting a manual from local parts place shortly.
Does engine have to be moved forward to start the repair sequence?
Any tips would be appreciated.
thanks
Gary

The entire front sheet metal has to come off, then the bellhousing bolts all around it,just under the dash area need to come out, then the engine mount bolts. YES, the entire engine moves forward, with the clutch/flywheel and housing as one. Good place to go is www.yahoogroups.com and look for the Power King group and join and post questions. There isn't much literature on working on these tractors, but owner's mans and parts blow-ups are handy. Fellas on list have some parts and links to other new parts sources.
