My uncle has a tractor that he wanted me to ask about. It is a Wards Twin Row, built sometime between 1938-1942, built by either Cleartrac or Avery. The serial number is 3A630. He is restoring this tractor and needs to know what color it was originally painted. Does anyone have any idea? He believes that it is some shade of red.

Thanks for any help anyone can give us!

It was built by Cletrac. due to the war and the goverment needing crawler type equipment Cletrac sold off the General which is really what the tractor is B. F Avery then purchased the tractor. Wards was also partially owned. by B> F> Avery. I can hook you up with the TRU-Draft club which is the Club for those tractors. They have decals and can giveyou paint numbers. 1939 was the first year of them. Questions?

Thank you! I would appreciate the number for the TRU-draft club, or do they have a website? Thanks again, you have been very helpful.
