Hi!

Does anyone have a manual for a Deutz F2L912 engine. The injector pumps on mine don't seem to want to pump. The engine has been out of use for some time & i don't know it's full history. I've obviously bled it as far as i can & cranked it over plenty but still nothing!

Cheers,

Pete

The F2L912 had 2 diferent pumps. If you got the Bosch pump You could find Infos about it at the Bosch Company Link

For>Link the Deutz pump maybe try this:

They are always on e-bay. Same book for the 1 to 6 cyl. 912. When you say dont pump are you saying fuel into injector pump but none out? Is pump turning ? Maybe pump drive is broken? John

Thanks for the info, i've seen manuals on ebay but was under the impression that the 3-6 cylinder variants were a different manual to the 2 cylinder. You're correct, fuel into the injector pump but none out. The drive is fine, the pumps are actuated directly by lobes on the camshaft which is turning as it should. I started stripping the pump down today & found that the valves were gummed up with dried diesel, i think that the pump plungers maybe too. I cant strip it any further as i cant compress the springs enough to release the caps as (i presume) the plungers are stuck. I really need a drawing of the pump so i know what i'm dealing with before i go any further.

Cheers,

Pete

Thanks for the info & the link. I'd spotted that one myself, postage a bit pricey to the UK but probably worth it. Thanks!
