Started working on my new "toy" this week. Need some advice and some contacts for parts. Does anybody know of a good wrecking yard with Continental F-226 engines in combines, MH tractors, or other?

Is there any "parts" Graham-Bradleys out there. I need the following parts. 1 front rim
Starter
Generator + Bracket
Intake/Exaust manifold and Carb
Aircleaner
Gas tank.
Choke lever and mount.

Most the engine parts should be pretty easy to come by, but some of the others could be tricky. I figure if a original gas tank is not available, it shouldn't be too hard to get one out of an old Oliver or something and make it fit. I am missing one front rim. It has the five bolt hub with approx 3.5" center and 4.75 bolt circle. I was wondering if any other tractor make or model used this oddball rim? The pictures I have seen of early Massey Harris 5 bolts look similar, does any body know if they are the same dimensions?

The good news is:
This tractor was found for me in Hermiston, Oregon. Unfortunatly the blowing sand there took most the paint off, until I removed the wheel weights yesterday to reveal a beatiful red color with perfect silver pinstripes.

Thanks in advance.

yah, those were the smaller 150 weights. the ones we had were 300 a piece. the nebraska state test lists 450 lbs added to each rear wheel so that would be one of each kind of wieght. thanks for the reply. hope to see you at brooks again. good talking to you.
ps. this is the guy who had the other two grahams at the show

Just estimating the weight of the wheel weights, but I doubt 300lbs because I was able to tip it up off the floor and roll it around. I would bet now it is 150# and the pair would be 300#. It is the same weight I saw on Eric H.'s Graham Bradley at Brooks so I am sure it is original.

hey, glad to hear of another graham found. just curious, how much do those rear wheel weights weigh and would they happen to be for sale. i am very very interested if they are. i am in northern oregon. also make sure you get a cont and not a chrysler flathead that most masseys use. the cont have the dist through the head whereas the chryslers come out of the side of the block on the left side. hope to converse with you more if possible. my family has two original owner grahams, both 38s, a row crop and a standard.
thanks, thehickdaddy

How are you doing. We met this year at the Brooks tractor show. The wheel weights are heavier than any other I have seen. They must be 160 pounds. And sorry. I want to keep them. I was in contact with somebody who could have a gas tank and air cleaner. If I get a gas tank there shouldn't be too much to keep me from displaying this tractor at brooks next year. So far this has been the easiest tractor to restore that I have started yet. Appart from missing parts, not much is broken. All the bolts are turning right out. Even a couple of broken bolts in the front end came right out when I welded a nut to the top. It sure is nice to work on a tractor that hasn't been rained on all winter since it was parked in the fence row. If I can figure out how to post a picture here I will. Hope to see you at the show next year.
