I was out for a drive and saw a old tractor probably from the 20's or 30's the man said it was built by a tool company he said the name started with a C and ended with a P I have never seen anything like it before the engine is loose ant the tin on a 1 to 10 is a 9 easy the tractor is smaller than a cub it has a little blade on the rear end.Thanks for reading Nick

The state of MD used those Centaur tractors for mowing along the highways back in the 50's with a sicklebar mower. They used one for pulling a gang
of Fairway reel type mower too. They had a road gear and would run very fast on the open road. Hal

Yes it does. That is what it is, are they hard to get parts for, and what are they worth and how rare are they. The engine is loose the tin is perfect. thanks for your help

You were there I was not BUT could the last letter be an R instead of a P? Smaller than a cub kind of limits the field of choices? Did you get a good look at the engine? sitting on the seat on which side is the mag? J.

The reason I asked about the P and R is there was a CENTUAR made in Greenwich Ohio and I have seen a small one. I am also not 100% sure if I spelled that correcly. On the mag I was trying to eliminate different brands of engines. This is an L head engine correct? J.
