Anyone have any info on a Crosley tractor? We just bought one that has a 4 cyl. water cooled Crosley engine, it also has a Wisconsin engine on the rear that runs the mower deck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a photo? I'm curious - I've never seen factory-made tractor with a Crosley. When I was a kid, there were home-made tractors all over the place made from Crosly parts along with some Ford A and T stuff. Also several factory-made garden tractors use left-over Crosely components - e.g. the Economy tractors use Crosley transmissions. I've got a couple of military gensets with Crosley motors. I've also got six boats with Crosley-powered outboard motors. Homelite and Fisher-Pierce used to sell them. In regard to the Jacques using the Crosley - again, I've never seen it. I've got several Jacques - Frazier tractors and tillers - but none with a Crosley.

Crosley made their first car in 1939 and made a lot of refrigerators, but no mention of any tractors being made. Hal

Kelley:

Jacques-Frazier is the name of the Crosley powered tractor that my neighbor has.

Thanks to Mowr for the memory jogger.

More than one brand of garden tractor used the Crosley industrial engine. If memory serves correctly, Jacques and Frazier were a couple of them.

Hi, Kelly:

I can connect you with the owner of a very original and complete tractor made by another Ohio company using Crosley components.

See my answer to your question on the N-Series forum.
