Any one have a copy of the electricl system of an 822 Belarus. I really need to know what the 12 to 24 volt switch is called, or what the part number for it is, or does anyone have a switch for my 822. It's located between the batteries and switches from 12 to 24 V to start the tractor. Also anyone know if there is a replacement part off of something else I could use instead of the original if I can't find one?

Don't be afraid to pull that black box to bits. Usually a clean up and bending of the contacts is enough to get those things going again. They are fitted to all sorts of things like Claas combines (Lexions in the States) my sons Nissan patrol has one as well. You can go 12 volt, Delco and Iskra make starters as up to 1988 the Belarus was 12volt anyway.

You can do away with the switch. There is an outfit in Texas that makes Delco 12 volt starters for Belarus's.We put one on our 820,starts just as good with the 2 12 volt batteries hooked together.Plus if you need the starter worked on again you can have it fixed at your local shop, the only thing on the starter thats Russian is the drive.

Looks like this switch should work. Does your tractor have 6 or 12 volt batteries. I think the old Macks had 4 -6 Volts. Is the belarus positive or negative ground? You might have to change some wiring. I have worked on the Old B Model Macks and a Belarus or two but its been a long time ago and I just cant't remember.

I don't know what Belarus calls the switch, but we have always called them a Series-Parallel switch. They were pretty common on older models of road tractors, especially KW. It allowed you to have 12V lights, accesories and charging system and start on 24V. One of these probably could be adapted.

What are the capacitys of the engine oil, trans and hydraulic oils for the Belarus 822 Diesel? Is there a good book with all this information in it?
