Looking for information or resources for this tractor as we have come across one in excellent shape and would like to fix a date of manufacture and approximate value.

I owned a Model F 18-35.
There was also a Model FA, the ONLY difference being the F was geared slightly faster.
Are the side curtains there?
As far as I know, mine is the only one I've ever seen that had the side curtains.
I did copy the parts book and owners manual(I THINK I had both)which I still have..... .somewhere..... ...

Like chp, I don't find anything for an "F" 22-45, and I don't recall running across any Heider or Rock Island websites. You might try the Case sites/groups; since Case took over Rock Island (late 30's?) Heider and Rock Island people may be on the Case forums etc. That Buda in the 18-35 "F" was a YTU, a fairly popular truck-tractor engine, but that doesn't mean an uprated version, or a larger or more powerful engine couldn't have kicked the rating up to 22-45. You might try checking the Nebraska tests for those years, to see if a 22-45 was tested, or an "F" with a bigger engine. Good luck.

The book I have list the Rock Island "F" as a 18-35. It was made 1928-1936. It had a Buda 4 1/2 X 6 4 cyl. motor.
