i need a starter and flywheel for my payloader. i am not sure of the exact year and can't find the serial numbers? any idea where they might be located? also, if anyone has pictures of there payloader around that year, could you send them so i can see if it is the same as mine. i am guessing about late 40's early 50's ? i have been looking for the parts for this piece of equipment for about 10 years now. it is a 4 cylinder gas and big tires in the front and small ones in the back. i would love to get it running again.
thanks cliff

In conjunction with Bud's statement I had a Waukesha parts book where a 4 cylinder overhead valve engine was also used in some models. How about some casting numbers off the engine. J.

Try looking for "stamped on top of left frame rail near grille", "stamped on top left edge of frame real near grille", or "stamped on left rear flange below radiator". Those came out of an undated serial number locator that showed IH-Hough wheel loaders, so may or may not apply to yours.
Parts catalogs show at least three gas fours for late 40s/early 50s Houghs: Wauk FC, IH U9 and Herc IXB, but everything under model numbers, and parts catalogs never complete, so could well be others. HTH.
