What is the proper color for a 1948 Earthmaster C? I was told that it was Case Power Red. Is that correct?

Hi, Are you the Larry K that posts on the Yahoo Earthmaster site? The Earthmaster was not painted Case Power Red. There are several different opinions as to the real color of the tractors, no one has any real factory information. The paint color sample could best be matched from finding a spot of unmolested paint on the tractor that has maybe been covered up or covered with grease and taking it to be computer matchedat the paint stores. The tractors made in California were more orange than red and the tractors fron N. Carolina were more red than orange.

Thanks to both of you for your input. My tractor was made in California. The Power Red that I used seems to be more orange than the pictures if have seen, so I"ll try to get more information.

They were a deep reddish/orange, bright yellow rims and dark green for the lift arms and implements. Give this number a call on Monday and see if they have anymore info. Monday is a Federal holiday, but they may be open. Hal

PS: They claim they bought the Earthmaster company. You could look at these PPG paint codes
to see if they are near the reddish/orange. 60080
and 60396
