I just looked at your pix, and at first glance agreed completely with Wm: the radiator, the fan and pulley, the fuel pump, the filters, the water temp connection at the t'stat housing all looked late 40s to 60s. But when I went back to try to get better look at the carb things began to nag...the side of the block isn't completely smooth, the dist cap looks old, the plug wires are oddly heavy, and are those real rubber plug connection caps? Is that some kind of heavy oil line snaking up past #1 to the top of the valve cover? In pix #5 the pass'ger side of block, under exh manifold, just looks old, and in pic#6, is that a radiator shell of a much larger original radiator, ahead of the mounted radiator? (By "old" I mean 20's, 30's). That little engine just looks too little for the rest of the crawler; that distinctive design on the valve cover is probably someones trademark design. And the carb on the valve cover, with int manifold inside???
Cleveland histories say Oliver bought Cleveland in 1944, but the Cleveland tag also looks "old".

That engine was never a Cletrac. Looks to be from the 50's or 60's. Is the carb mounted on top of the valve cover? The intake manifold inside the valve cover?
