Quite a while back some people requested that we put up a discussion board like this. It is meant to cover what some people call affectionately "oddballs and orphans" which are basically tractors that were made by less well-known manufacturers such as: Earthmaster, Silver-King, Long, and many others.

We hope you find a kinship with others who also collect, restore and/or use these lesser-known tractors!

I just stumbled across this page. I mostly read "tractor Talk" and the "IH" sections here. I was one of the people that requsted a page for oddballs and such. I may, or may not, be able to help any one here, but will visit this page every time that I get the chance.

: I am searching for information about a rome tractor which has a permanent belly mounted ihc mower it has a ixa hercules engine it is a low boy design that was sold as a highway maintenance mower. it has a lipe transmisson I think that it was built in the 20's would appreciate any information as to mfg or where built. it has no drawbar rear tires are 750x20 with a single front wheel.
