I just picked up a Leroi Model 125TA Tractair. It has serial # 227X1309. I was manufactured by Leroi Division of Westinghouse Air Brake Co. Milwaukee Wisconsin. It has been sitting for a while so I towed it on my trailer but when I got it home I thought I'd put a battery in it to make sure it wasn't stuck and the thing fired a few times and started up. It ran a little rough but I was able be get it off the trailer.
Can anyone tell me where I might find a manual or any other info on this machine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Well, it looks like there're lots of these around...the archives here ("Search This Site") shows 136 posts (many duplicated) among which is MDS's post of 12-17-05 (under Centaur Transmission thread) saying he has Operators and Service manuals and a parts book...

If you haven't found what you need, Westinghouse is now WABCO (Westinghouse Air Brake Co); their website doesn't show an old parts/info button, and I don't know whether they have any of this old stuff...
You can also try "Ed the LeRoi Man" (Ed Malcolm, Prineville, MO) who hangs out at smokstak.com--I think he's into little LeRois, but he might have suggestions. Good luck. (If you're truly desperate there's always Walter Miller to try). With sympathy...
