Need a loader for my 4006. Can these still be purchased new? If so, can anyone recommend a brand?

Here's the picture - Chris from YT fixed the issue I had with posting photos.

As you can kinda make out in the picture - the Westendorf has a big old bracket connecting the front casting all the way back to the bell housing. I took this picture when I went to look at this tractor before deciding to buy it.

I can get other pictures if anyone needs them.

Cheers,

Matt

I have a Westendorf WL-23 loader on my Deutz D6806. It has the quick attach system with a quick attach bucket - I'm pretty impressed with it so far.

Westendorf discontinued this exact model loader, but they still make this series AND still support the WL-23 since I just ordered an owner's manual for it yesterday for $15. Great folks at Westendorf - I'd highly recommend them and their products.

My only complaint is that the tractor's hydraulics don't have enough flow at idle/low speeds. I have to rev 'er up to about 1500rpm before there's enough flow to make the boom/bucket move at a reasonable clip. I'm hoping to someday upgrade the pump to alleviate this.

I tried posting a photo, but didn't have any luck...I'll try again some other time.

Cheers,

Matt

Check out Westendorf of Onawa Iowa I sold theirs and Great Bend loaders on Deutz tractors when the 4006 was new. Whatever you use has to connect the casting over the front axle to the bell housing or it will break it off of the front of the engine.
