I added a fuel filter head to my 2610. Pretty much the same tractor as the 610. Went by a road tractor bone yard and got one off a truck. It's spin on and got a filter down to 5 micron. I don't change the two on the tractor anymore. This spin on does the job very well and much easier to change. Just pinch the rubber lines on each side of the filter head and change the filter. Fire the engine up and no more bleeding. Been on there for 7 years now and change the filter once per year. Never had a water problem anyway. Use Southern States premium fuel and it's clean. Works for me.

I get my filters from the local auto parts store. They have crossreferences for filters also. Was wondering if your have gas or diesel. I have the 620 4x4 diesel with bucket and rear blade. Just got it a few weeks ago. Seems like a real nice tractor. How do you like yours. I also found the operators manual at sundownerstractors.com for 12.00 ..Perhaps you could send me a pic or two of yours.

I may not have added my email address. But it is here now if you have a picture of two. Can send you two if you like of mine. Used it today with rear blade on a 45 degree down hill road. For I live like 7/10 a mile back up a hill and down this old road. Good thing this tractor is 4x4. Would have been setting in middle of that hill road. It is not maintained by the county even. :)

Any auto part store should be able to get them if they don't have them. I got filters for my 445 Long at Walmart.

Here's Wix fuel filter number 33166. Since Napa sells their filters the Napa number should be 3166. Hal
PS: They have a locator service for locating a store. I only knew North Bergen's zip since my wife's sister lived there back in the 1970's.
Plenty of stores in that area. Just do a search for wixfilters.com
