My friend has this 1964 610 Long diesel tractor and one of his brakes is not working at all to stop the tractor. He wants to know where he finds the brakes to check and what kind are they. How maybe to adjust them? Thanks for info if given.

Maybe a 1984 610 Long? Search "Fiat built tractor parts" for repair parts. There are adjusting threaded turnbuckles underneath the running boards. If that doesn't take out the slack, time for new brake bands.

Is a 610 a Fiat look alike?

No, it is a Fiat mechanical near-copy, but dressed in different sheet metal.
