I resently purchased a LIVY tractor. It was manufactured in Tulsa,OK around 1949 to 1954. It is make of cast aluminum it has Large front wheels small back wheels, a steering wheel that is in the center of the frame and is paralel to the ground. You can steer it with either the steering wheel or with foot steering cups. What I would like to know is what kind of engine it had and how it mounted to the frame. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you, DW

I realize that your query was posted a couple of years ago. I hope you are still checking this forum. I also have a Livy Tractor, or what's left of one. It has no engine, or rear wheels. I am trying to find someone with a photo of a complete tractor, so I can tell if a restoration project is feasible. If you could tell me anything about the tractor, any information would be appreciated.

The Livy I own has a Briggs & Straton engine mounted behind the transmission. I have some broken cast aluminum parts which I do not know where they belong. I have no implements.
