Trying to determine if anyone is familiar with this tractor. Model #10, Serial # 2674. It was made in Dennison, Tx. Has metal front wheels and appears to have been hand-crank but converted to pull start similar to gas lawnmowers. There is a notation "Clutch Adjustment; Twin Disc Clutch Co., Racine, WI." This tractor is currently located in Southern, Va. Trying to find someone who knows anything about this tractor. Would like assess it's value.
Thanks,
DJ

My husband has a Mighty Mite. He was told that it was made in 1948. There are supposed to be only 500 made in that year. There is not too much information out there on mighty mites.
It sure did draw a lot attention at the Tractor show during the 4th. Would like to know more about the mighty mite.

Dave (or anybody who can help) My Grandfather-in-law has a old Mighty-Mite #10 and I have been trying to get some information on it with no luck. What I am looking for is a catalog or manual on it. Some of the parts need to be replaced and I have no idea where to look!!

Any information would be great. Thanks so much.

The Mighty Mite was built by Jaques Power Saw Company in the late 40's and 50's. The most common engine found so far has been a Briggs and Stratton, although I am not sure if this is original. I have a Model #10, Serial #1945, with a blade mounted on the front. From what I was told, the tractor came with this blade as original equipment by the original owner. The wheels on the rear are 5 bolt, 5.5 in. Ford, 16 in. truck wheels, or from a Jeep. The front wheels are two piece steel. The transmission is a Borg-Warner three speed with reverse, the same transmission found in older Jeeps. The original color was red, much the same as the Farmall. (red paint varies from maker to maker so exact color of red is hard to determine.) To this date, I have not found any written material on this tractor, but I am still looking. I have a trip planned to Denison Texas to visit family and plan to spend time trying to find info on the company. I will put out anything I can find.

"Fannin County Special" is a free ad "newspaper. This weeks edition lists "Auction Estate of Clayton Bateman, Sun June 12, 1PM, 219 Hwy 82 West, Sherman, TX Just west of United Rentals". One item is a "Model 14 Mighty Mite tractor" if you are still looking for one.

The ad also noted "made in Denison, Texas", which is how I came to find your posting - I'd never heard of the Mighty Mite. I'm curious as to where you are located - I'd be interested in seeing the information you have.
