I'm looking for parts and a service manual for a Hinomoto E1804 compact tractor. It's a 3 cyl diesel, 4WD. Two people have told me that it's the same as a Massey Ferguson 1020. If you have found any good after market parts suppliers, let me know. Specifically glow plugs and a fuel cap.

I have a Hinomote E23 Disel tractor that has blown a glow plug. The numbers on the plug are NGK 5Y, Y805, 10 BV.I have talked to Barb at Massey who deals in parts, who could not help me (by the way her number is 630-406-3296). She referred me to Gary at Kentucky tractors (270-462-2191) he was not able to help me either. I am now talking to Homestead tractor in California (760-240-1610) who is having to deal with
their Canada connection to try and locate a glow plug
for me. My question is: Isn't their an american
sequel glow plug for this model? Desparate in New
Mexico. ljnewmexico

I had the same problem. Burned out my glowplugs and had a heck of a time finding them, but I located them at a place called Sooner Sales. Here is their website:

According to the book a Hinomoto glowplug is the same as a Yanmar, Iseki, and Shinbaura tractor. The Yanmar would probably be the easiest to find.
Your right Massey small tractors were made by Hinomoto, but I can't recall the series #..
A Massey dealer should be able to help you.

You said "according to the book..." and that's the most information I've gotten so far from anybody. Is there a book on the compact Japanese tractors that's good for questions like this one? I would like to find one. Thanks for your help.

I'll call the friendly folks at Massey this morning to see.
I got some manuals from some bunch in Cal, but I don't recall who it was. So I'll start looking again to see about getting you some.
You're welcome, it's no problem. It's cool and windy here this morning and I'll do all my consulting for these folks from in the office.
(while I'm playing)

I was referred to Little Miami Tractor Co in Blanchester, Ohio.
email is LMTCompany@aol.com---they are supposed to have books and parts on all the different series.
If they don't help holler back or email me and we'll look again.

I have a hinomoto E14D-4 4wheel drive.I have found that some front axle parts, thrust bearings, seals, are the same for a model 205 massey f. What I need is the small gear on the end of the drive yoke. thanks
