Can anyone help me with some torque specs for the cylinder head for the above tractor. What is the plate between the head and the block, I have never seen a setup like this before.

torque for cyl head bolts is between 47 and 51 ftlb. after tightening, check valve clearance. Start in the middle and work toward the ends of shafts.

Tim, I have the same tractor and the plate you speak of was on mine as well. My manual doesn't actually make reference to it, but, as a WAG I would have to believe it is in there for valve to piston clearance. My manual has the torque at 47-51 ft/lbs. Valve clearance is .010 inch. for both intake and exhaust. Hope this helps. Burrheads instructions for retorq on the head works well and is pretty accurate with the bolt torque. Good luck, RC

I have a Satoh Stallion 750 D. Need manual.
Question: Seal somewhere leaking. 3 point hitch not working, oil on clutches. Anyone have any ideas where bad seal is and where can get a breakdown manual on same?

I have a satoh 750d stallion that I bought manuals for. I am having lift problems but mine seems to be in the pump as my steering gets hard when lift doesn't work.I thought of selling my tractor to someone needing parts.

You could be talking about part of the head gasket its self.
Some of the Satoh had a steel headgasket with rubber and paper seals for oil an water with a separate fire ring for each cylinder.
They were made like the old 743cid Cummins engines gaskets.
The way I do it on torque for these engines without books is to look up the torque for the equal sized bolt in lbs, and use that- I have'nt ever had a problem.
I don't know the 650 by size, but the older big sized Satoh do this way....
After you have torqued the engine like above, then crank and run engine til it gets up to operating temp. Shut engine off. Now loosen each head bolt 1/2 a turn and retorque to the torque for that size bolt. Don't loosen all bolts at the same time, do it one bolt at a time. You'll do good, don't sweat it. Hope this will help and good luck.
