All components were painted flamboyant red whatever that means. I understand it's close to a safety red or fire hydrant red. The wheel rims and the radiator grill cage was yellow. about the same color as the John Deere yellow. The hydraulic system was green but I am not sure if that included the the entire mounting brackets and everything.
I am in the process of restoring my model C Earthmaster and am almost done. I have torn it down to almost the last bolt and sandblasted and painted everything. If I were to sell it I would probably not recover my cost because I paid 1000.00 for it and I will have another 1500.00 in it. Toys are expensive.
No one asked, but in restoring one, some helpful tips include the following.
Finding brake lining can be accomplisghed by having new lining bonded on to your old disc for about 85.00. Make sure they use 1/8" thick lining. I first lined them myself using 1/4" lining and had to have it all re done because i couldn't get the wheel hubs on.
Some people cold bond their own lining on 4 wheelers by using two part liquid weld. I did not want to risk having the lining come apart, although I don't see why it wouldn't work.

The 6 volt generator brushes are difficult to find but new ones can be made by a supplier for not much more cost than otherwise buying them. I had my old origional autolite generator re wined for 100.00 and that included brushes.
Another hard lesson included finding a clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing cradle. The AC model G tractor uses the same engine but the clutch set up don't work. Neither does the Allice Chalmbers radiator. The massey Harris Pony might work but I could never find any available parts from one.
I overhauled my engine with no problems except with piston wrist pins which are no longer available without some hard searching.
Enough said.
