Nuffield 10/60 Tractor (manual on hydraulics) or help!

I have purchased a 10/60 tractor and am having some difficulty with the hydraulic system. The lever for the three point hitch seems to be dis-connected or loose. I have taken the top off the hydraulic system but can't see in to see if something is broken or not. Does anyone have any information for me. I need either a manual, pictures of what it should look like or verbal help. Is there a place where I can buy a manual? A quick reply would be appreciated if possible.

Wife's Uncle just asked me to jump on the Net and find timing mark for Nuffield 10 60.

Could you give any clues to my email as I will probably not find this site again.

Thanks

Roger,
You will not see much by removing the top of the lift. The whole back plate has to be removed to get at the linkage etc. This is not a bad job, I removed and serviced mine on a 4/65 which has more tin work, in 4.5 hrs.

The place to get a manual is B.Sims, 1 Hall Farm Cottages,Church Lane, Swarkestone, Derby, England DE73 1JB if one is not available from this site.

Regards

Brian

Thanks for your information. Boy that's quick. Just a little info. I visited a tractor repair shop today near home. I found out that a previous owner removed the lever below the left side of the seat that engages the PTO, and hydraulic system. For what reason I don't know. They even removed the bracket that it slides in. I bought and installed a used one, started the engine and guess what? The darn'd thing worked. I am going to order a manual now. I appreciate all your help and your quick response. Have a Happy New Year and thanks.
