Hi,
as you can see by my name I am usually on the JD page however I just wanted to say what a great tractor a 1973 Long 350 is. My uncle bought one from a neighbor a few years back and it was not use much. It had plenty of power and ran really well. Talk about fuel economy! We would pull a HEAVY DUTY bush hog brand 6' bush hog. We mowed a whole 25 acre hayfield that was THICK and only burned about 8 gallons of diesel. The only problem was this tractor didnt have power steering and steares somewhat hard. However, it would start under any weather conditions even at 10 below 0! Has anyone else had the same experience with a Long? I would like to hear some feedback about what other people think of this tractor.
thanks,
chaz

I have a Long 445 and, as you say, it starts in any weather. It has plenty of power and is the workhorse my Ford 640 wasn't. Take care.
