I did some work trade for a woman whose brother had died. I found this great little critter in the back yard. It's a crawler about 5 ft long & 40" wide. The tracks are pressed 3/8" steel, the frame is 3" channel iron. There is no identification number or name, no transmission and it has a wisconsin hanging out front that just doesn't look right. I'm trying to send a picture but my computer skills are less than good. Anyway, if anyone could help with I.D.I would certainly appreciate it. My name is Pete, I'm at turtlerock@saber.net

From your description, you tractor sounds like one that I also have. Mine is a crawler, walk behind and also has the engine hanging out over the front. It has 2 handles(like the handles on an old horse drawn one-14 plow. On the right handle it has 2 levers which pushes plungers down into a chamber in the top of the transmission. On the other lever it has the throttle lever. If our tractors are one in the same. Your may also be a VAUGHN. VAUGHN MOTOR CO. Portland Oregon. If they are the same I may be of further help to you.
Let me know. Also I need parts for mine and LOTS OF WORK TO BE DONE ON IT. Ira Strange
