I have a select-a-tilth rotovator.Can anyone give me info on who makes it, can gear changes be made, where to get parts?

I think I can help you- they were made in UK by Howard. Now made under licence by someone elso. We have some parts or can get them. Depends on the model etc..

The Selectatilth is a Howard, an Australian company that has been making walk behind and tractor driven cultivators since 1921, they also started a factory in England in the late 1930's, they are still operating in Australia. Bob

Brian: You have a Howard. Inside the gear case that has Select a Tilth on it are two sets of gears. Interchange them to get 4 rotor speeds. You MUST make sure that you only mesh the gears which have the same colour. It's probably the best brand of rotovator you can get. Here in Ontario, they are handled by Robert Laning at Waterford. You may have to look for a machinery dealer that handles vegetable equipment. Tom
