serial numbers & year made. CAn anyone help me with this. Thank YOu

The Model V Serial Numbers are as follows:

1946 1V05-1V143
1947 1V144-2V276
1948 2V277-4V489
1949 4V490-5V500
1950 5V501-6V206
1951 6V207-6V421
1952 6V422-7V271
1955 8V121

The serial numbers are stamped on the top of the right hand side frame rail in the area near the clutch housing.

The serial numbers are from the B.F. Avery Collectors and Associates January 1999 Newsletter.

would love to send this info, but i am having trouble finding my serial #. all the numbers i find do not match the numbers i see on the registry. Our avery v ran today, first time in 20 yrs. a little tlc and new gaskets do miracles.

would love to send you this info but, we have not been able to locate our serial#. our avery v has numbers everywhere, but thet do not match what we have seen on the registry. by the way we are proud to announce our avery came to life today after 20yrs. A little tlc and new gaskets brought her back.
