I am looking for a owners manual for my grandfathers tractor. He has a 1938 Eagle 6-b. We know it has a hercules engine and I belive I found the serial number over the net. It is 2457. Any other information would be a great help. If anybody knows where I can obtain a manual I would that would be helpful. You can E-mail me at Joemomma38@hotmail.com. Thanks hennry

Your Eagle SHOULD have a Hercules QXB5 6 cyl. engine. According to Rick Mannen's well done book on the history of the Eagle Company there were about 150 6Bs built from 1936-1938. I think your best bet for a copy of a manual would be Jim Gutenberger of Colby, Wisconsin who owns (I think) a 6A and a 6C-both totally restored!! Craig
