I'm trying to find Planet Jr cultivators-the style you pushed through the garden with muscle power-any ideas where to start looking?

I live in northeastern Pennsylvania and I just got a hand type push Planet Jr. at a flea market. It has a small plow on it. Other attachments like cultivators are pretty easy to come by. I have a few Planet Jrs. so that is why I picked this one up. It has wooden handles and the name Planet Jr. is stamped into the wood and is still visible. I bought it for $35.00. Good Luck

My father used one of these! They are great, but
the chances of finding an old one with all the seed plates are almost zero. However, I know they are still being made and I saw a picture of one for sale in some garden magazine within the last year. Try searching the Web. If you can't find
the original, most garden catalogs sell a plastic and aluminum modern version that works pretty well. Good luck! Clint

Can't help much on where to start looking but go to lots of farm auctions. Things like this is what most people consider scrap iron.

I picked up a relatively complete Planet Jr. at a farm sale (with cultivatorn and plow) for $60.00.
It is not running (yet).

No it is not for sale.
