Tom, The TD18A was tested in Nebraska test # 446; 97.83 belt hp, 85.61 dbr hp, 20,234 lbs pull @ 1.55 mph. CHP 101.98 belt hp, 89.29 dbr hp. It had a shipping weight of 23,630 lbs. The Caterpillar D7 of the same era was Nebraska test # 358; 89.10 belt hp, 78.48 db hp, 21,351 lbs pull @ 1.33 mph. CHP 92.84 belt hp, 80.44 dbr hp, shipping weight 25,340 lbs. The TD 18 has a 12 volt electrical system and starts on gasoline then you switch it to diesel. It had a complete gasoline system with magneto, carburator and spark plugs, and a complete diesel system with injector pump and injectors. It has a 691.1 cu in six cylinder International engine rated at 1350 rpm. If the one you are looking at does not have hydraulics, you would be much better off to stay with the cable system. It would be difficult and cost prohibitive to add hydraulics and change to a hydraulic dozer blade. There is nothing wrong with a cable system. Harold H
