I bought a used Kubota B6000. Actually it is a B-6000 that had the motor replaced with a three cylinder diesel from a newer 6200. My question is can someone tell me what type of oil I should use in the gear box. The guy I bought it from says 30 weight motor oil but when I checked it smells like gear oil, I don't think he ever added any oil to the gear box.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Roger.

I also have a B6000, and i am looking for a few implements myself. I have called several dealers in my area and they told me to call a place in KY. The name of the place is West Kentucky Tractor Parts. Sorry, I don't have the #, but i am sure you can find it at yellow pages.com
